They have great shoes. Wait, let me rephrase.......great shoes at AFFORDABLE prices. Their most expensive pair is $100 dollars. AWESOME! Want to hear the bestest ( yes I said bestest) offer they have........hmm? Do you?

Once you purchase 7 pairs of shoes at regular price.....you get a $50 coupon!!!! so you basically get 2 free pairs of shoes, since they have shoes that start at $20!!!!

Event Planning Made Easy

I love gatherings! Large or small, it doesn't matter. One thing I don't like are gatherings that are not well organized. Not everyone is a Professional Event Planner, and most of us cannot afford to hire one......but planning a great event has become easier than it has ever been for the average person. B&E is a great resource for event planning for amateurs or professionals. The best part is: The Basic Event Planning Resource guide is free! If you are helping a friend plan a wedding or planning your own, The wedding Resource guide is only $15.00; better value than those wedding planning binders they sell at your local book retailer.

B&E Resource Guides Cover everything from invitations to press releases, so you are never asking " What's Next?!"

Okay, Now for the bad news; the resource guide is only helpful if you live in:

  • Washington State
  • Oregon
  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Montana

and last but not least, Canada. Good News for the people who don't live in the areas I just mentioned: Visit Decidio. I am not sure if their online resource guide is as detailed as B&E, but I am almost certain it is still just as helpful.

Sample Everything....purchase a gift set!

Travel Essentials Gift Set: $39.00 @ Kiehls

Now that I have a 5-year-old who seems to be growing as fast as stalks of Bamboo, I have become alot more frugal and have been restraining myself from purchasing the pricey personal products I used to get for free when my Aunt owned a boutique. HOWEVER, like most Moms on a budget, I have learned that gift sets are a great way to test products out, without spending over $60 for a complete full-sized set. It's somewhat of a win-win: I get to use the fancy-schmancy products that feel great, and make my skin look like a million bucks..............while not feeling guilty because I spent alot of money on over priced products that probably don't work any better than the stuff at your local drugstore ( your local drug store nor the manufacturer can promise that most of the products have not been tested on animals though!)

"Where did you find that great diaper bag??!"

....I wish someone drooled over my diaper bag...well, besides my baby. These handmade fashions can be found at Posh By Tori.
In addition to great, uniquely designed diapers bags...you can really trick everyone into thinking it's actually a handbag by purchasing the matching Clutch, Laptop bag, and mini shoulder bag. For those of you who have children who have been out of diapers for years, these are a great alternative to the typical carry-on or weekender/overnight Duffel. Being a Modern Mom is all about owning items that have multiple uses, and this fits the mold.

Lucky Mom, Lucky Dad...FINALLY Lucky Kids!

Lucky Brand -Harajuku Hoodie Jersey Dress: $48.00

Maybe I am a little behind....but I had no idea that Lucky had girls clothes! You have NO IDEA how excited I am. I found this little cutie while "Window Shopping" and immediately imagined my little girl wearing it with high stop Chuck Taylor Converse in green, because red would be too much. However,if she picks the shoes...they would be purple...but we won't discuss her color/outfit choices....that's a completely different post.

Listen up all you old invitations...while "Paper Shouts!"

Parties are supposed to be fun! So why are we using drab invitations!
Now that parents are really thinking out their children's birthday parties, and the days of the small family gatherings are slowly fading away; send out birthday invitations that actually look..I don't know...HAPPY?!

These are an excellent alternative to the traditional cartoon character invites, that don't have nearly as much personality as your "Life of the Party" offspring.

Custom Invitations-Starting @ $1.49 each. visit Paper Shouts

Trendy & Functional baby Sling

Peanut Shell Baby Slings-Start @ $32.00
Being a young, hip Mama myself, I know how hard it is to find accessories that don't look like they are a blast from the past: Plaid baby carriers, Vinyl covered high chairs with the same Animal Safari Print from 1980..blah blah blah.
Peanut Shell Slings by Goo-Ga,Inc. are not only trendy, they also come in great modern-yet-classic patterns....they're a far stretch from those back pack baby carriers of the early 1990s!

No Paper, No Plastic....Nylon Please!

Baggu Bags-Packs Start @ $8.00/each
Who wouldn't want a reusable bag, that can hold the contents of 3 plastic grocery bags?! In an effort to help the environment, mother+ daughter teamed up to create Baggu bags. A stylish, and more efficient bag than the usual bags sold for $1 at your local grocery store. What is even more AWESOME about these bags; You can have them screen printed!! In addition to all the great color choices, you can go the extra step and personalize it with your own brand, instead of an OBVIOUS, ugly black bag with your local grocery store's branding.
